I've been away for awhile, but I'm finally back, with some new photos to share. I've been dabling around with photoshop over the summer and started playing around with the infinite ammount of effects and adjustments; so I'll be posting these over the weekend, including a DA ID - about time I did that, too! So last night, before we moved to the living room and blow the canldes - it was my bro's birthday - we get see the news about the Picasso painting that was aucioned recently for record millions - on our states' flagship channel, no less, RTP1. To my surprise, the anchorman says "... and today, this painting by the *Surrealistic* painter Picasso was auctioned for..." I stared blankly at the screen for a moment while my parents and my brother laughed their heads off. Did he just say SURREALISTIC?! So I finally had time to finish something I've always wanted to do: to paint Blade: http://tonyotter.deviantart.com/art/Blade-156079445 I had this inked a few years back, but never managed to make it look good - until now. I still think its far from perfect: the shadows on the skin could've been better. Something to keep in mind for my next project! For now, I'll be glad I'm making progress, and keep having fun with this!
